Tin made coffee part 1
The answer to the question "can you make a good coffee just using a tin?" is yes!
There are two ways I have achieved. The first which is just the can, the other will be in another post.
How we've brewed this is going back to the 'Cowboy' method which involves the following per cup:
15g fine ground coffee
171ml water
First bring the water to boil and turn down to a low heat before adding the coffee.
Next give it a stir to make sure the coffee is fully in the water and give 2 minutes to brew.
Using a cloth either pour carefully into a cup or ladle out into a cup.
In the cup.
In the first attempt the coffee did have an overall good flavour to it but had a noticable metallic note.
However the second attempt was much better with the metallic note gone leaving an enjoyable coffee flavour.
